Small Victorian cheese and butter producers have welcomed a decision by Australia Post to dump its ban on shipping perishable goods around the country.
Australia Post has set up an industry working forum to resolve what it says are cross-state regulatory issues after initially announcing it would stop delivering perishables from June 30.

She said the company had “religiously” used Australia Post, even finding ways to work around delivery delays.
“We knew it was slow, it was slow at the best of times,” Ms Cavarsan said.
